So I have taken up Yoga (youtube), meditation, daily walk with my old fashioned binoculars (but hey who cares) LOL. Noticing an abundance of things that have been here years but never taken the time to observe.
On one of my walks came across an allotment and made a couple of new friends one of whom has invited me to a picnic in the summer. He has an idyllic spot down by the riverside where kingfishers and woodpeckers reside. So there you go good does come from bad sometimes.
Also practising bridge, completing jigsaws, playing spider solitaire all on line.
Then of course in between there is painting of trellis, potting plants, cleaning house, sorting of files, sorting wardrobes.
Just realised.....I am doing quite a lot...as I bet you all are. Stay safe folks.

Communication is always important but seems to have a whole lot more importance
and emotional content during this difficult time.
I've done the Kitchen cupboards, sorted out the cookery books and long-unused baking tins. De-cluttered and tidied once but it soon re-appears again!
And of course there's the garden, always something to do there. Put some daffs and a hyacinth in a vase to enjoy. Smells heavenly this evening.
We have a small paddock across the drive, and they are more likely to go and play with the ponies if given the chance. The older ones will lift a hoof or toss a head but Zena the young Welsh will join the fun.
Our fencing could do with a good overhaul too! Posts gone at the bottom and need replacing!
Sheep back in the field next to us (Not ours!) The dogs are OK with them except if one breaks into our garden and gets thrown out. Then there is a bit of excitement. Sadly we lost our small flock of 5 from our field on the mountain to thieves last year and have not had the heart to start again with orphan lambs as we did a few years back..That's life!!! Our clever old ewe Molly knew just how to deal with pesky dogs and gave them a few hearty butts in the ribs to teach them respect. I hope they caused some belly aches as they were full of wormer when they were taken!!!
cleaning the kitchen cupboards finding a tin of tuna I didn't know I had.
Walking around the block sometimes I turn left and sometimes I turn right just to make life a little more exciting.
