Where do you go to find a recipe?
Watch this postI have to say I am a bit like you! I find it much quicker to google a recipe as my computer is always switched on, and my book shelf is so full I can’t easily access the recipes I want. Also most celebrity chefs have websites so I know I can find a recipe that I may have seen on TV. I do have one fave book though .. probably my oldest Delia Smith ‘bible’ that I always refer to for basic recipes like scones, pancakes and crumble!

I look stuff up in my Good Housekeeping "bible" it tells you how to cook any basic ingredients eg fruit & veg and has sound basic recipes. However I am a bit of an invention test cook so flick through for ideas then just make something up!

check if your recipe matches, then I would try theirs to see how it compares to mine. what I am trying to say is be flexible see what works for you, there is no one size fits all. learn to listen to your dietician and your body.
I find eating salads a bit boring sometimes. I find I have to jazz salads up with a salad dressing to make them tastier and I know that this can add quite a few calories to the salad.
