It looks like it happening again. Men are allowed to beat up women in the name of sport. Maybe they are men on the outside but their DNA says different and the Olympic board lets it happen. I am pleased that the Italian girl got out of the boxing match instead of allowing this so called woman to beat her up. Poor girl did not stand a chance. She should be given a medal,

From the very start, the Olympics held in France will always be remembered as les débâcle.

The opening ceremony, Chinese drugging, boxing scandal and the swimmers ill and hospitalised for E coli from the filthy Seine. Heads must roll, but who signed off on all the plans and who should be led to la guillotine.
Shocking!

My heart goes out to all the athletes who are up at dawn and train so rigorously year after year to fulfil their dreams for their countries. How sad for them to be associated with such a tarnished Olympics.

Fed up to my back teeth with XY competing against XX and thinking they really deserve to win.
By the time the IOC wake from their nap, it will be too late for Angela Carini and others who have lost out.

I totally agree and think the whole situation is a farce-The IOC should sort it out.
