I'm a semi-retired, active, fit 57-year-old woman looking for an adventurous travel partner for Canada, Iceland, and Northern Europe, beginning in early May, 2018. Must be able to walk 8-10 miles a day, kayak for several hours, and carry a backpack into wilderness settings for several days at a time. I'm open to visiting cities too, and I am a big fan of the arts.

I'm open to a female or male travel partner, hoping to make a life-long friend and possible future travel partner. I like to cook, am a registered nurse so can handle medical emergencies, and I keep a cool head.

I like animals, nature, photography, swimming in mountain lakes, seeing the northern lights (on my bucket list), dancing, and music. Easy-going but not the life of the party. Can be a little shy at first, but I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs, and once you get to know me, you will see I have a dry sense of humor, but a warm, caring heart.

Semi-retired, experienced 57-year-old female nurse looking for travel companion opportunities. I'm an experienced traveler, pet caretaker and speak a little Spanish. I can handle medication management, wound care, mobility issues, injections, diabetic care, etc. I've worked in most nursing settings, and am really good with emergencies. I have some funds, but probably not enough to see as much of the world as I'd like to see. I'm unencumbered, free to work with your plans, etc. US passport. I've visited Thailand, Nepal, the Carribbean, Central America and parts of Mexico. I have never been to, and would like to visit, Iceland, Alaska, Chile, Australia, New Zealand, Europe and Scandinavian (my mother's homeland).

I am a good cook, and a warm, nurturing person who does not get flustered easily, and I rarely get sick. I can handle cooking special diets, food allergies, etc. I don't smoke and don't drink anything other than an occasional glass of wine. I am physically able to backpack, hike and kayak. I'm also an artist and photographer, so enjoy visiting cultural locations, museums, etc., and natural settings most of all. .

I'm a semi-retired 57-year-old female outdoor person from the western United States, looking for a male or female travel companion for hiking, backpacking, kayaking adventures in Canada, Iceland, and Northern Europe, beginning in early May, 2018. Destination and activities are somewhat flexible, but that is my main geographic area of interest. I have never been to Europe, and it's time to go! I am looking for someone who can walk up to 8-10 miles a day, kayak for several hours, carry a backpack into wilderness settings, is able to handle themselves during emergencies or bad weather, illness, and general travel chaos. I'm recently divorced, and my ex-husband was my travel partner for thirty years. I have done some travelling on my own, but really prefer a partner. Not looking to "hook up" but I am interested in developing close relationships with other adults my age. Lifetime friends and possible future travel partners would ideal!

Hi
I'm also hoping to find a travel companion for a trip around Europe this year.
I'm 69 going on 28 so I still have the adventurous spirit. I must spend some time in Italy as I've never been , I would prefer to drive and take the train , I don't fancy the whirlwind coach trips that travel through lots of countries but see very little along the way.

I'm also planning a holiday in Europe this year and would like to find like minded travel companion /s. , even if only for part of the trip. I'm 69 going on 28!!!! Not coach tours!!!!
I intend to hire a car and travel without making too many reservations as I believe we should not be tied too much to an itinerary.
I must include Italy for at least a week as I've never been. Vienna is also high on my list but I am extremely flexible apart from these two places.
Fun is absolutely paramount.

Hi, I'm a 52 year old very recently widowed female. Im looking for travel companions & to make new friends. I live by marazion in Cornwall & I'm originally from Birmingham. I would be happy to travel to any destination at the moment, but would love to go to Goa around March. Im very easy going & find it easy to mix with all age ranges.
Hope to hear from someone
Karen.
Response from RowanE made on 22nd Jan 2018 16:20:01
Hi Kelly,

I'm really sorry to hear about your situation and I can relate. I lost my husband 6 months ago - I'm 53. I'm also looking to go somewhere (to recuperate), but I hadn't thought of Goa. Funny, that's where I went when my dad died. I really want to go somewhere to spend a month or two swimming, bird watching and cycling to try and get my strength back. What did you have in mind for Goa? I was hoping to find somewhere with a river or lake to swim in, so probably not India! What do you think?

I hope you find what you're looking for, if it's not me!

Cheers,
Rowan

Hi everyone, I've got some time off work at the end of June this year and my friends have family commitments so can't travel with me. The dates are from 22nd June to 1st July. I would like to find someone interested in travelling to Spain with me for a relaxing holiday, either Valencia, Altea or Malaga and head to the coast. Anyone interested? I would prefer to fly from Bristol

Hi everyone,
I haven't travelled very much, but with time rushing on by, I've decided I'd like to change that and just go places! Having recently moved to the east of England, I don't know many people, so it would be really good to find new friends and hopefully someone to travel with. I've just entered my 60's!!!
A few ideas would be Portugal, Spain, a cruise, Europe, Canada, Australia - and of course open to ideas!
Happy New Year and enjoy your travels.

HI all, I'm a man looking for a travel friend. Anywhere really ( within reason ) and preferably flying from Scotland. I am retired, prefer sunshine to snow glare and can travel anytime. I am appalled at the cost of single holidays and would love someone to share the trip. Although we would need to share a suite / room your time would be your own but it is nicer to have somewone to chat to and share meals with than eat alone. It's also nice to share a holiday experience and learn as one travels from interesting people. Initially I would suggest a short haul trip and if we like each other then we could plan more trips. No interest in whether you are male or female just that you are a nice interesting person and up for adventure and new experiences.
Contact me here or email [email protected]
Best wishes - Wes

Looking for new female friends for travel/holidays.
I'm in that mid age category, so 45 to 65 probably works best, though fun and easygoing personality is the most important thing.
I'm divorced, professional, independent and optimistic, and I've been exploring the world as much as possible since I was in my teens.
I have no fixed agendas but am initially looking to get away to warmth and sunshine this winter - a couple of weeks here and there, or longer in the right place/'s.
I can be adventurous, but thinking of nice hotels or renting villa or whatever with others.
If you think you may be interested, individually or in forming a small group, then please get in touch.

Really find this site difficult but have found a few people who might be good companions and like your idea of renting and then people can do their own thing or together. I’m married 64 but we tend to do our own thing and my husband is not keen on warm weather or travel. I like to think I’m laid back and good company - I’ve travelled a lot in my life . I’m based Cornwall at present but often in London. Elizabeth

Hi there, I have spent a lot if my life with horses , I am now in my 70's. I have given up horses , as I was beginning to realise that they were quicker than me, that is when I purchased a motorhome as my new interest. I love driving it & staying on different. campsites in England , but it would be nice to meet someone with similar interests as myself who has their own motorhome or would travel with me. I would like to take it abroad, France or Spain & move on from campsite to campsite & enjoy the countryside & weather!!!!
Response from Angel9uk made on 3rd Jan 2018 16:21:54

Hi Folks--
New to this, so feel a bit odd.....I'm a 67 yo straight male; been to Germany, England, Scotland (3 times, LOVE it), Canada, Mexico (twice), Hawaii (4 times, LOVE it) ,Alaska cruise, and lived in Thailand for almost 10 yrs. Still have urge to explore, but solo is not as much fun. I am respectful, neat, and know where the boundary lines are, so am not concerned about traveling with females or males.
Sharing a space needn't be a concern for a prospective roomie, and I don't snore. Hope I haven't violated some cultural or social norms.......Would like to cruise, (maybe the Caribbean area), or the
western South American coast, but am open to new ideas and places.

Stay open-minded--
