Looking to re-home a small dog
Watch this postHi Everyone. I am looking for a small dog to re-home. We live in Warboys, Cambs. My wife suffers from a long term illness and I care for her full time. The Dr has advised that a small dog would be good therapy and would motivate her to go for walks more often. If you know of anything like a Dachshund/Maltese/Jack Russell or crosses of these, please let me know. Thanks William MacLean 07786568200

A bit spoilt as she sleeps in the bed with my wife but the therapy and love makes it all worth ut.
I'm new here just reading through the posts. I work with Doxie rescue in the US. I am delighted to read that a dachshund has chosen you to be her human. I'm quite sure you understand what I mean by that statement at this point. I'm sure you will have a lot of love and affection in your future! They are winners not wieners! Paws and prayers for your wife's speedy recovery.
While on however Redbird, I know how you will be feeling, such a shock with it being so sudden. In 2015 we had to have our beautiful 16 year old Bichon Frise put to sleep, he had suffered for two years with one thing and another and we could not see him suffer any longer. Heartbreaking.
