I would like to make new friends for general conversation only
Watch this postI have recently moved to a new home, and I feel very isolated where I am living not knowing many people here. I would very much like to make and chat with some new friends. Is there anyone else in the same situation?

It was a forced retire really, as 2 years ago, I was diagnosed with leukaemia, but after a stem cell transplant, I have been in remission for nearly 18 months.

I live in Dumfries and Galloway but some of my family live in your area.I have visited a few times but not enough to know whether I like it or not.Since moving to Scotland over 50 yrs. ago I have come to enjoy remoter mountain covered landscapes.which are further north or the Lake District to the south,which is where my sister lives.
Enjoy surfing with silver surfers there's a good discussion ongiong about the NHS and also grammar school education it is interesting getting opinions from all sorts of people with different experiences of the two systems.
