I love writing and I have two websites: www.johannayorksr.com and www.themammablog.com. I've been writing here for more than ten years. I, like so many other writers, write about life, love and parenting. Parenting is the greatest challenge in life, if done well, no accomplishment seems to approach the gratification of it. Grand-parenting is the icing on the cake.
I'm reaching out to talk and discuss life and living. I hope you will respond.
I have just joined, I am male, married, fit (ish) and like to make new friends and chat.
I like reading, fishing, walking, volunteering and helping with small computer problems.

Thanks for the introduction. Heart warming.

I got sick of Facebook. Despite so called friends 99.9% of the time I was talking to myself.

It can't be any worse than Facebook. I'm sure our site will prove so much more positive.
Love and Light.

I would always recommend investigating your local branch of the U3A - loads of interest groups and usually, plenty of nice friendly people. Enjoy York, it's a super city.
