I am new too . Trying to make friends . My family all live in the Uk but I am in Canada . Lost my husband of over 30 years three years ago . Have a lovely news partner but get lonely at times

It's gone very cold today. Doesn@t encourage a lot of outdoor activity. A cosy cafe, coffee and a cake seems a good option.

Is it because as we get older we just wish we were younger, I would love to do the things we did when we were young but we know our bodies can`t hack it anymore, even if our minds think we can. there is one thing i do know is that we are not following our parents generation in the pipe and slipper brigade though.
