Coping with loneliness

So many people who are so alone, some are even homeless, by not any fault of there own. So any sad folks who have no one to talk to, does anyone take the time to say hello to a lonely stranger, to make someone smile, so they feel there are people who care?

I do, does anyone do as I do?

A very interesting and thoughtful post Danny. I agree the homeless situation is covered up and most people do not want to discuss it. My daughter cooks meals for the homeless and there are some terrible stories. I think quite a lot of homeless men are also ex forces which is terrible as they served the UK-why are we not looking after them? Food for thought!

Rather than give money I have sometimes gone to the nearest bakers and bought a hot pasty and given that instead, rather than fund drugs perhaps. At least it is a meal.

Good morning, Yodama , I do sometimes take a hot juice bottle of tea and hand it to them , and have little chat to them even handed them a sandwich or two ,but yes sadly to say kindness is not always found to the homles by some people .
