Anyone interested in paranormal experiences?

Hi Al I have just joined this site-found it by accident but I am glad that I did!!

I am 61 unemployed at present as we have moved from Wales to Wiltshire.Husband is ‘officially’ retired lucky thing-I am one of those who still has to wait for their state pension thanks to the machinations of our Government changing State pension ages!!!!

I digress- I want to know if anyone has had any ‘spooky/paranormal’ type of experiences?I once was part of a Paranormal Research group back in Wales and have had so many of my own experiences which started after my mother’s death.I am not a ‘crank’ but do firmly believe that there are things which we just cannot explain by everyday logic.Whilst a member of the Paranormal group I was a sometime Ghost tour guide at a place called Margam Castle in Nelson (South Wales).

I’d be interested to hear from anyone!

I love Medieval reenactment too-but I also like ordinary things like dancing, cooking and Reading too! 😀

I have had a lot of experiences with ghosts and spooky occurrences, I live in a house that appears to be haunted, thankfully not by anything malevolent.
I have lived in many homes which have been haunted by something or other, and I believe this may be down to some sort of residual energy field if not for perhaps being psychic and sensitive to those who resided in these places before and picking up on what was.

I have read that adolescents are responsible for most poltergeist activities in the developing mind, and also that our minds are somewhat holographic, so we can manifest phenomena by projecting it photographically. The mind is far more powerful than one might think!

I used to go to Peckforton Castle to get into Medieval reenactment scenarios it was huge fun and I miss going, I would love to chat with you some time Maria, and I am happy to swap phone numbers via email. My email is: [email protected]

Sounds like we have a lot in common.

We have a ghost in our House in Texas USA. One evening my wife lost her contact lens and we looked and looked all night for it. In the morning the ghost had placed it on the sink where we would see it . I thought I caught a couple of glimpses of the gent but it's been a long while or maybe I take him for granted now. I forget why I knew he was present but I remember often telling my wife that I suspected we had a ghost due to several "small incidents." I think he liked that I prayed.

Hey there Aqua. Thank you for your invitation . My wife doesn't get into chatting so you are stuck with me. is this forum ok to maintain the chat? I'm up late as I had to clean the kitchen drain with a thing called a sewer snake and the exercise boosted my energy. Too bad my ghost didn't get involved ! We are about to get hit with a deluge. How's your weather?

Hi Maria-g,
I am married to a psychic and she talks to dead people all the time. I was very sceptical at first but after 38 years I have witnessed too much to have any doubts now. I remember one particular instance where a young girl of about 20 was brought along by her mother. She wore baggy dirty clothes, her hair was a mess and she wore no make up. My wife said she would like to do the readings separately but they insisted that they would both be together. The first question she asked the daughter was when was she raped. There were a lot of denials but my wife said "I didn't ask if, I asked when". There were lots of tears and it came out that she was 13 when a family friend had raped her in her own bedroom. That reading changed her life and she became more assertive and stopped acting up.
The second occasion that comes to mind is a woman who came for a reading, she had a very Jewish surname and it was assumed that she was Jewish. My wife said she could see a little bent old lady doing a strange dance in a field of spinach. The woman asked if she could show her the dance so me wife got up and did a couple of steps for her. She immediately recognized it as the national dance of Madeira and the old woman as her late grandmother. They had a smallholding and one of there main crops was spinach.

Hi Mouster Nothing I hear surprises me and I don't for one moment doubt your wife's ability. How can people 'know' things without being told!My own experience after my mother died has left me in no doubt that there is 'something' even though I'm not sure what that something is!I once went to a Psychic in Wales who even gave me accurate 'names' ref messages from dead relatives-how can that be a 'con'??I think people need to have an open mind-ok you wiull never get everyone to believe in this sort of thing but at least have an open-not totally closed-mind.
