Where do you go to find a recipe?

I have to say I am a bit like you! I find it much quicker to google a recipe as my computer is always switched on, and my book shelf is so full I can’t easily access the recipes I want. Also most celebrity chefs have websites so I know I can find a recipe that I may have seen on TV. I do have one fave book though .. probably my oldest Delia Smith ‘bible’ that I always refer to for basic recipes like scones, pancakes and crumble! :-)

Mostly, I find recipes online now as it is so much quicker - especially as often I already have suitable ingredients in stock but just need some fresh ideas how to use them.

I still tend to use my recipe books, or if looking for particular ingredients Google is my friend http://www.silversurfers.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" class="spSmiley" /> ) Also like the recipes sections on BBC.co.uk - if I was better organised I'd have made a list of my favourites & which recipe book they are in ( have way too many cookbooks!)

"allrecipes.co.uk " is an excellent site.
Facility to build your very own book and literally thousands of recipes; search by ingredient etc.
I personally have a desktop folder with all recipes tried and recommended PLUS the usual cupboard overflowing with books.
2013 is "Slimming Year" for both me and wife; target date being August 11th, our son is getting married!

I am in the same position. Lots of books, including many favourites, but since January this year I started going to Weightwatchers so now I am compiling new lists and books either from the internet or from the weekly meetings.

Am thrilled to say, it is actually working for me 😎
