Do you use regular forums or do you prefer facebook?I think I prefer forums. There are too many issues I disagree with on FB.ViewDate:

Car Parking at HospitalsIt's an absolute scandal charging to visit people in hospital. We did manage to wangle some free parking once but it involved me spending time in intensive care. Now isn't that nice and friendly :-? :-xViewDate:

Where do you go to find a recipe?I am in the same position. Lots of books, including many favourites, but since January this year I started going to Weightwatchers so now I am compiling new lists and books either from the internet or from the weekly meetings. Am thrilled to say, it is actually working for me 8-)ViewDate:

Some say middle aged is a state of mind ....I guess middle age is reached about aged early 40's as not many of us will probably exceed 85 nowadays, in which case I am most definitely old. However, in my mind I am still 21 even if the body doesn't move as fast as it did then. Age to me is just a state of mind. How many of us daydream about our teenage/younger years as though it were only yesterday. I certainly do. This Yorkshire lass will always be young, no matter how old she gets :-):-)ViewDate:

In search of a new name for trifle...IMHO I think the name trifle should stay. British classics don't need to be renamed. If people want to make variations on this dish then they should feel free to make their own recipes and call them what they will, but leave our original classics alone. :-oViewDate:

The publication of topless photos of the Duchess of CambridgeI think this photographer should have his camera inserted somewhere the sun don't shine. Then again, if people refused to buy this sort of 'sensationalist trash, then there would be no need for this money grabbing exercise. :-x -
