I am sixty-seven and recently single. I enjoy sailing, scuba diving, hiking, and kayaking..I am looking for a travel companion who would enjoy visiting the South Pacific, Caribbean and/or Central America for warm water, sunny beaches and tropical adventures..I am comfortably retired but would rather share travel experience than travel solo. Just returned fromCosta Rica and am now looking to plan a Spring Escape.Anyone interested?

We are few friends from USA travelling to Croatia in first two weeks of May 2020. The car accommodates 8 people we are 3 may be 4 people. This is private tour organized by us with detailed itinerary of each sites for first two weeks of May that covers 90% of Croatia's most important sites that covers national parks, museums, beach, historical sites, UNESCO World heritage sites, Game of Thrones sites etc. Itinerary is ready and looking to find like minded people to join so total cost can be divided. The tour cost approx. $3200 per person for double occupancy and $3600 per person single occupancy. The cost includes 3*/4* hotels with breakfasts, all sightseeing with car/driver/licensed guide/entrance fees. It does not cover tips, lunch, dinners and your personal expense. You need to buy your own international ticket. We will be travelling from East Coast USA. Flight is approximately about $700/800. Arriving airport on May 1st is DBV and departing airport on May 16th ZAG. Let me know if you have interest. The purpose of putting this post here is simply to travel with like minded people to share the cost and travel at ease and not worry about transportation since we will have personal car/driver/guide at our disposal and of course make new friends.

Hi there.
I discovered the travel bug 2 years ago when I did Liverpool to Hoh Chi Minn via 24 countries, overland in 104 days.
I want to do Kathmandu to Beijing overland via Tibet, Everest base camp, and various other locations in the interior of China like Xian Terracotta Army before the Great Wall and forbidden city of Beijing.
Back packing, buses and train Inc sleepers is the mode of transport and budget hotels and hostels would be the accommodation choice.
Early May is the preferred departure date and 4 to 5 weeks duration.
It's a long shot but anyone who would be intested in joining all or part drop me a line.

Hi! I'm a 61 y/o male from Bellingham, WA, which is in the far northwest corner of the US. I have a small travel budget and will be traveling to certain events in this part of the country.
These are counter-cultural and are generally spiritual, love based events with tent and/or vehicle camping. It could get a bit primitive for a few days and tougher if it lasts longer (think lack or real showers)!
Now that I have frightened off the faint of heart, what I would be grateful for is a semi-normal woman to accompany me. I am honorable.
Also open to couch surfers who may enjoy a stay at my "rustic" mobile home on a Blueberry farm. Again, this is not a "pristine" type of place (think 0 stars!) but it is comfy with Wi-Fi, etc.
We could explore together from here. Looking for barter type situations so no money is exchanged.
I hope to hear from some brave souls! Thanks, and don't forget to laugh, I did!

Hi CarolAnne Welcome to the site. I'm always interested in meeting new people to travel with. Have met several new friends on here and been away. I'm sending you a private chat message.

Hi CarolAnne,

Due to being 12 years older than you, I'm most likely in the too old category.
But as they say " you'll never know if you don't give it a go"
I am an Australian male looking for a travel companion to Central &/or South America.
But first a week or so in your area Sevilla , Cordoba etc.

Pls. let me know your thoughts

Hi there, I'm 54 and looking to travel to Southern India for 10-14 nights from the UK. It will definitely be on a shoestring and, although I don't mind a bit of sightseeing, what I really love is just getting a feel for, and learning about, other other cultures. Id rather opt for homestays and hostels than fancy hotels. I'm not into racing around but equally like to see a variety of things. I love a good hill/ mountain trek and would be open to a spot of yoga/ meditation. Looking for a male or female companion and need to make the trip before the end of March (I know I've left it a bit late!). Anyone fancy joining me?
Response from NDodge made on 7th Jan 2020 23:32:30
Thanks, I'll look into that one

Hi. I'm new and not travelled for 16 years. Young at heart but wouldn't drive in another country (am from Australia) and don't like Tours unless I can get on and off as I please. I need to do a trip in 2020 (for my soul) and at the point I can't decide where. But for example, decided I should maybe see the states and want to travel (in part) along the California coast from la to SF....an impossible task it seems on public transport. As well as the eastern states round main, new Hampshire etc. A companion to share the drive with would be great. Or again, perhaps Iceland/Scandi countries and driving would be best . So, I'm thinking autumn or spring (Oz seasons) & if I don't get proactive now, another year will pass. Anyone interested, please contact. Or with info on how to do it alone. P.s. I'm a budget traveller

I'm a young 80 and want to return to Paris in March or April, preferably with an intelligent and curious woman. I'd like to spend about a week and share lodging costs. I like strolling the city, stopping to enjoy the sidewalk life, dining well in the evenings. If we mutually agree there are things we can do together, or we can simply go our separate ways each day. Or a combination of a little of each. I'm a writer and also work in film. You can google me as James Ure. I live in Utah, I do a lot of fly fishing. I'm a non-drinker but I don't mind if you do. Would like to share an Abnb, preferably in the Montorgueil area. I'm open to staying elsewhere.

I'm looking at a cruise on Holland America to South America and Antarctica in January or February 2021. Most of my travelling is solo, but I think a friend for this trip would be wonderful - sharing costs, safety and all the fun. Not looking for a mate or partner, just someone who is like minded re this trip.

Hello ,

I`m hoping to spend time next year exploring the island of Crete with a chap - on a platonic basis - and preferably someone with an interest in ancient history and always keen on sampling local food and wine. I`m quite flexible regarding the time of year.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE OUT THERE !

Hi there, Turned 50 this year and I have decided to try new things this year. I am hoping to do a cruise in June 2020 - dates/locations flexible as it is my first one! Tempted to go solo but the single travel supplements are crippling. Interested in Med/Greece - 7 days +. I would also like to do a week on land after (maybe Santorini). I am based in Ireland but the UK is only a hop, skip and a jump.
