Countdown to disasterIt's a funny thing but it's not just upto this country to reduce the nasty gases.... Has anyone seen or heard about the pollution coming out of India , China , South America. and America . To name just a few, ........Yes we can all do our bit which includes taxes being charged and money wasted . But until there is a global agreement which is kept by evey country ........... Cowboy Builders - been ripped off!I can't offer advice on getting over this awful happening . I was very lucky , only in the last few weeks to realise what was about to happen and managed to put a stop to it before money changed hands.. My advice for the future is some thing suggested to me ... Any would be trader no matter what the work tell them that the job and prices for everything have to be listed so it can go on to an solicitor relative for release of funds. If they are genuine they will do this , but these con artists will disappear quickly. When there's a chance of a check up. . Do hope you start to feel positive soon .....We are in an unenviable situation as elderly ladies living alone , but you know the old saying .........if it seems too good to be true ..it usually is ..... Hello, from Portland, Oregon, USHi Kate, greetings and welcome....... I am I am living in the bulb growing region of South. Lincolnshire in England, Not so many grown now as used to be, but one can still see fields of Daffodils and Tuslips. Was in you lovely city a few years ago, do you still have your smallest park and the beautiful gardens high up giving a wonderful view. ....so many things to remember about Portland. Cunard is my preferred choice, but would be open to suggestions. The only time I am not free is mid September to mid October. Am happy to go most places but do not fly.
