Hi Trisher, I am looking for a cruise companion. My husband cannot cruise as he gets sea sick,, but he is happy for me to go, but he doesn't want me to go alone. I am 70 years of age and fit as a fiddle. I live in South Yorkshire, and would very much like to go on a cruise in January. I don't know what your budget is, but I'm always looking for a late bargain. I've been to the carrebean twice and am not keen to go there again. I would like to do South America,, Brazil, izaguana falls, or Asia, in fact anywhere I've not been before. In a non smoker, but I do like a drink socially. Hope to hear from you . Regards

I am looking for travel companions up to about six in number to travel with. This year so far I have got together a group of five to go to the Isle of Man for a week for some walking and sightseeing. The group composition was three girls and two boys including myself. We all came from from different parts of the uk due to contacts with members of travelling companions found from other websites. Activities include meetups to socialise and form small group holidays which so far have been to a number of worldwide destinations. If you are interested in socialising and possibly finding others to travel with it would be good to hear from you. David

Hi Monica
I'm sorry I have not replied to you sooner. Like you walking is my passion and I usually walk around seven or eight miles. I live on the edge of the welsh mountains so can literally walk from the front door! I have to admit that I am in my late seventies but fit. I belong to two walking groups and have friends both girls and boys with ages between about 55 and 75.
Each year we go as a group to some travel destination, nearer to home this year for a second visit to the Isle of Man to walk the coastal footpath, about 45 miles of it's 95.
Last year to the Austrian Tyrol, New Zealand before that and the Canaries ( Fuerteventura )
Mostly we are small groups doing these from three up to eight of us and come mainly from Southern England and South Wales. Present plans are a either a holiday to either La Gomera or La Palma In the canaries alternatively winter walking in Austria. Let me know
your whereabouts you are in the uk you are and perhaps a meetup with some of us could be arranged.
David.

Hello David, I am a newbie and looking to join a group to travel with. My intrests lie in stargazing ( although so far through my own binoculars ) not sure if you know of any member's that organise events like this?. I would like to also join a group cruise holiday, not confident that I could go on a one to one with a male companion yet though.

After solo travelling in my camper van throughout UK and Europe For 14 years, I finally let go of it and have settled in Gloucestershire.
I'm anticipating the urge to visit Spain or Portugal again this winter and so would love to accompany a non smoking motor homer considering wintering in warmer climes

Sorry. I am wanting for a group of companions rather than one. Having meetups to socialise with potential companions and perhaps join or setup a small of them to go on holiday with. I have been doing this for the last 15 years and found many friends to travel with.

Hi
Im looking for a travel companion sometime in late november, to get away from those winter blues. I live in leicestershire, 57, reasonably fit and quite happy sitting by a pool for a week or so (cape verde or mauritius) or an adventure (got my eyes on peru). If you're interested then get in touch.

Hi I am a young seventy, very active, I have a young mind and dress stylishly , with out being old fashioned. I have done a lot of travelling, but my husband can't cruise. I would like to do South America , Manchu pitchu and the izaguana falls. There is a cruise that does a land tour co binned with a cruise. It's too expensive to go as a single. Would you be interested. I am a non smoker and love socialising .

Hi Ardene
I am 57 and would be interested to discuss with you a cruise holiday or similar. I assume you are in the UK as you mention Downton Abbey. I thought Downton Abbey was filmed at Highclere Castle in Berkshire?. I am a fan of Poldark 🙂
Let me know if you are interested, I live in Suffolk.
