I have been to Crete a couple of times and love to venture out of the tourist traps and meet the true Greeks as they are lovely generous people, love to spend time on the beach and boat trips

I Am a young 62 year old , retired and like to think I'm easy going. I live just outside Brighton, other side of the country I know but I think it is possible.
I'm in the same situation as you but my husband is still working so can't get the time off . I have been to Rome but would like to go again . what do you think ?

Tried to get private chat with you but it wouldn't connect. This sounds like a plan! Normally I fly direct from Edinburgh with ryanair which goes to Ciampino. From there, my lovely hosts pick me/us up and take us direct to the house (and back). Takes all the hassle out of worrying about transfers. I'm sure we could work something out. As the private chat thing doesn't seem to be working, if you would like to contact me direct by email first of all, we can find out a little about each other and I think we'll both then get a "feel" as to whether we'll work - but I can't see why not as you've responded to my spiel! I love travelling but hate travelling on my own. As you get older you dont seem to have many friends and the ones you have dont have any money to travel.

Hi All,
I have booked a cruise for two from Anchorage to Vancouver from August 13 to 20th. My sister was going to go with me but has just started a new job and had to cancel on me. I am looking for someone to take her place. The cruise is with Holland America on the Zaardam in section E with a window. I will be going up a week early to see Denali, Kenai and some of the other sites.
If you would be interested in either joining me for the cruise, land visits or both, please let me know.

I might possibly be interested in the Tahiti cruise in 2019. I have a daughter in Australia and if she is still there by then, I might want to travel in that direction! I am hoping to find someone for Oceania cruise 2018 or possibly even 2017 (leaving Sept. 29) I like the itinerary a little better than the 2018 one. It is getting pretty booked up but let me know if you would like me to send it to you or the 2019 cruise. Both in the Mediterranean.

Anyway, I've traveled a lot to the European Continent while I was actively working, but now that I've retired, I mostly just do cruises with friends, but is lonely because they have their husbands, but mine, unfortunately, has gone to Heaven with our middle son, so you can just imagine how depressed I am, though lonely is more like it.
Being an Aries, I speak my mind, besides, at my age and having gone thru life where my husband had massive heart attack from 1978 yet, I don't have much time to waste, want to have a happy life, cruising with a tall, personable, and educated man who has same interest. So, there you are...

Have a look in Travel section of Forum for details. It would be nice to have a mix of people. (I'm from the North and find Northerners particularly friendly and hospitable).
