Lighter life

Has anyone tried Lighter Life? Picked up a mag in Tesco and I am thinking I may have a go. I could do with losing a stone or two.

Hello Ethel80 ... like kiwi says below, I also have a couple of friends who have done Lighter Life. Whilst they both lost weight, they looked terrible as a result ... really drawn and lined and it really aged them both. When they resumed normal healthy eating they both put on more weight than they lost! One of these ladies has massively messed up her metabolism as a result of using this dieting method, and would never ever do it again! I think that Weight Watchers and Slimming World seem to offer a slow weight loss with sensible eating of food, rather than powders and other nasty products that Lighter Life promote. Best of luck! I also need to lose weight but my willpower is pretty terrible!!! Think that is the key to any sort of weight loss plan too 🙂 Good luck!

I have a friend who underwent Lighter Life, and ended up looking thin and ratty. I think the best advice you can have is that from Celtwitch. It is absolute common sense, and if followed, results will follow also.

I considered buying a franchise about 12 years ago, but the price put me off. They try to find the reasons for your overeating through the use of counselling (from experience I would say that counselling is a waste of money) which might work for you.
Personally, I would just cut down on fats, alcohol, cakes etc and do a lot more walking, and get the results you want for ...FREE!
