Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get rid of pesky scale insects? I have a beautiful tropical Murraya Koenigii ( curry leaf tree) and found to my horror, it is covered in sticky dew and scale. Ordinary soapy liquid spray does'nt seem to work. Heeelp meeee!

I have a nice garden with a small fence. Recently deer stated visiting and eating and trampling everything causing serious damage. I don’t want a high fence or hurt the deer. Is there a tested and tried method to keep them away?

May sound disgusting but male urine into a spray bottle and every couple of weeks spray tops of fence and possible routes of entry at ground level cats won't come near when scent is there, just nature...

At this time of year as in every year, I spend a lot of time clearing up leaves. We have a couple of trees in our garden and there must be a million leaves on each, and I am not joking! I clear them up by mowing the lawn and then using a rake as well. For a month or so it's a losing battle. I have to say the new leaf blowers are good as you can quickly clear a lawn of all leaves and my old dad used to say that leaves left on a lawn are not good for the grass as they cause "leaf burn". Be interested to see what others do

Need a bit of advice/suggestions. A fence panel at the bottom of my garden is close to collapsing but my neighbour (who the fence panel belongs to) is unwilling to replace it. I am thinking of putting in a perennial climbing plant(s) to hide this horror. Growing frame can be added on my side and the panel is approx 7' high and similar width. What plant could cover this? Regards,

The plants look healthy but some of the leaves are curling downwards. They were planted in the early spring and it is now beginning of Sept. Anyone out there with any experience with this? I’ve been watering 2X per week ( I’m in central PA) but we’ve had a lot of rain the last few days. Thanks for any suggestions!

Many people are wanting to plant fruit and vegetables for the first time and would really benefit from any first hand knowledge from the experienced gardeners among our community. It would be great to have any tips on preparing soil, ideas on what grows well in pots or containers, what will grow just as well with or without a greenhouse, when to plant out, when to harvest...I could go on and I'm sure there are plenty of questions many of you would like to ask! Feel free to post any questions or advice whether you are a novice or an old hand and hopefully we'll all get to learn something new!
