Travel today ain’t easy,
It comes loaded with grief and despair.
The promise is there,
To take you, by air,
To a land of milk and honey.
Then reality bites,
There are no flights
They cancelled them all in the night.
Now you queue up to hear

But if you’re not happy

And be amused at our efforts
to be ever so contrite
And to fail in our obligations to you.
You can claim your due refund

But don’t expect anything soon.
‘Cos we used all your money;
Yes, I know it’s not funny
But the bosses need paying as well.
