The letter

The letter

Hi,

Could you maybe drop by for a visit?
Haven’t seen you for such a long while,
I know I talk to you daily
But I miss just seeing you smile.

I’m only asking for a short visit
Though I would love it if you could stay
We could talk about all the good times
The ones before you went away.

Maybe you could help me in the garden
Then we could have coffee on the swing
I promise I won’t work you too hard
Or nag you about anything.

Tell me, where do I send this letter?
I can’t find a postal address,
I’ve tried to find it on Google
But they don’t know either I guess!

Well it looks like I’ll have to close now
Not seeing you is a real pain,
But I know sometime in the future
We will get together again

I'm past my sell by date but still going strong, I love reading, gardening, writing and sketching, I live in a very small fishing town and love it. I was born in Coventry but city life was never for me, I have lived in lots of different places, but I am finally settled here (much to the relief of my husband)
