Your wedding song, will bring a smile,
your marriage has now done many a mile.

Lullabies sung to babies so sweet,
toothy grins each morning to greet.
Holiday songs, you had such fun,
On the beach, ice-creams in the sun.

Your trips abroad, music to fill your ears,
You’re off to sunny Spain, ‘viva Espania ‘
Greek islands, and ouzo will get you on your feet,
The Zorba dance, pounding the floor to the beat.

Russia, vodka to keep out the wind and cold
The Cossack dance, enjoyed by young and old
A trip down under, the Beach Boys come to mind,
A visit to Graceland, you’ll have Elvis ‘on your mind’.

Back home Liverpool is a city of song and grace,
Our music heritage, is everywhere, in your face,
‘Ferry across the Mersey’ the Pacemakers come to mind,
‘You’ll never stand alone’ a football song, best of its kind.

Liverpool sings it’s way into the night,
sounds of the Cavern Club until early light.
Who could forget the Beatles, their music will never dim,
George, Paul, Ringo, and John Lennon with his cheeky grin.

New Orleans you’ll be singing the blues,
The Caribbean, calypso music just for you.
Wake up each morning, hear the birds sing,
Life can be good, let’s all smile and sing!
