Happy Easter

Happy Easter

Under the yew tree that stood very tall,
Under the yew tree, the rabbits look small.
All the daffodils sway as the sun entices a spring day.
Birds are nesting up high packing their nests full of hay.

The first peacock butterfly flits in the meadow,
light twists and turns, taking a bow.
Yellow, tinted orange forsythias spread,
Cherry blossom, and hawthorn in the parks overhead.

New lambs jump in the fields,
Home we tread with our Easter egg yield.
So to all and whatever you do,
It is a very Happy Easter to you.
