Facebook posts keep disappearing
It’s those pesky Gremlins I am sure
Mr Zukerberg just won’t sort it
It’s about time we had a cure

There is never any warning
They will pounce at any time
Posts disappear forever
It’s become a national crime

They also duplicate your comments
Make you look a right old fool
In the world of social media
Those prankster Gremlins seem to rule

They’re hell bent on disruption
As they divide and multiply
There’s no control, the just run riot
Snatching posts from you and I

Spawned by lethal algorithms
Of that there is no doubt
This invasion must be halted
It’s time they were driven out

We need social media champions
To have a Gremlin purge
Highly skilled pest controllers
Who can rid us of this scourge

Perhaps a political solution
Would turn this grave situation round
Might Farage have the answer
Surely he would bring them Gremlins down

May is busy with her house move
And Corbyn would run a mile
We could call upon Anne Widdicombe
To unleash her strictly killer smile

A new party of honest politicians
Could be just what we need
To open the door marked exit
And push the Gremlins through at speed

Pass a bill for Gremlin abolition
And rid us of this infestation
Give us back our posting freedom
With some simple legislation

So forget about HS2 and Brexit
Let’s stand together, hale and hearty
And get rid of all these Gremlins
By voting for the new Grexit Party
