I fancy my neighbour’s daughter

I fancy my neighbour’s daughter

I fancy my neighbour’s daughter
It’s plain for all to see
But I think I have a problem
Because she doesn’t fancy me.

My best mate Dave said “woo her
It’s the best that you can do”
So I bought her some chocolates
And took her to the zoo.

I thought I would impress her
with my ape-like repartee
But still my neighbour’s daughter
Doesn’t fancy me.

I tried to ask her nicely
What is it that I’ve done?
She said, “see that ape right there
Well you look like it’s bum”

Not one to be discouraged
A believer in my fate
I turned to my neighbour’s daughter
And said, “well you look like it’s mate”

Our date was a disaster
Plain for all to see
I fancied my neighbour’s daughter
But she didn’t fancy me.

Hi, I'm a mum of three children two boys and a girl but all grown up now but they're still my babies, I've been married to Jeff for 43 years. I Love all kinds of animals especially dogs, cats, and wild birds but we've no pets right now as our beautiful dog passed away and not ready to replace her yet. Until recently I loved all kinds of craft from making dolls houses from scratch to knitting, unfortunately I have a trapped nerve and get cramp in my left hand if I try and do any craft work which is a shame as I loved to give my makes to charity.
