Blow the Snow Westerly
The east wind did blow
We’ve had some more snow
Snowflakes fluttering gently to ground
They are so soft and light
Turning everything white
Settling without making a sound
I love the white stuff
But we’ve not had enough
The forecasters say it will freeze
Even if chilled to the core
I’d still like a bit more
To blow in from that easterly breeze
