Will you be using your vote for personality or policy?

With the 2015 General Election just over a week away, three politicians, David Cameron, Ed Miliband and Nick Clegg, will be meeting head to head tomorrow on the television with David Dimbleby for one last time.

However, only David Cameron or Ed Miliband are in the running to be Prime Minister probably with help from one of the other parties.

They both have different personalities and policies although it isn’t always clear what their manifestos actually mean for the individual British person, and in reality if they can even deliver what they promise.

What are your views.  Who will make the better Prime Minister? Will you be using your vote for personality or policy?

Will you be using your vote for personality or policy?

446 people have already voted, what's your opinion? PERSONALITY POLICY

All the Politicians go on about is the EU, about all the millions they have spent .I just wonder if the coffers were empty when the Tories got in where has all the millions they have spent ,so called or going to spend come from .
Why not talk about food banks ,disability cut backs ,sure start places for the young the Tories have closed..Where has this money tree come from,so why are they talking about more austerity which will only hurt the people at the bottom .When the Tories talk about getting people out of paying tax it means the people are still in poverty and only have an income of £10600.00.how many on this forum could live on that with no help .So take the tinted glasses of and have a good look around .

It has to be UKIP for me. They are the only party who is for the working class. Nigel Farage speaks to the people and tells it like it is. The EU are trying to take over by making all our laws and I quite frankly do not wish to be governed by the likes of Junker! I think that this election is going to be one of the most important elections this country has ever seen and I cannot understand why anyone in their right mind would NOT wish to vote - it really makes my blood boil when I hear people say that they cannot be bothered to vote for whatever reason! Right, rant over! VOTE UKIP ALL THE WAY.

For the first time ever I am not voting Conservative. I want my MP representing Leeds, to live in Leeds, not another city. Daft way to vote I suppose but none have fulfilled their promises, so this way is as good as another!

I agree with 'labour to the core'. I cannot understand anybody who votes otherwise, though I have good friends who do. TheSNP
influence on labour doesn't bother me, their policies are to the left as well.

Yes I forgot how Tony Blair and his crowd really looked after all the poorer people in the UK and didn't kowtow to the city fatcats. Come to think of it Tony still looks after the poor of the UK..with his £30m pile... And Ed isnt a millionaire...and Mr Prescott hasnt got 2 Jags...All good rich socialists...Everones equal...but some......are more equal than others!

If you are happy with who you vote for so be it .All I know is my Grandchildren have a debt around their neck already with tuition fees ,also dealing with people who are in having problems with feeding their family's and having to use food banks even though they are working ,most are zero contracts may give you a different out look .Its ok the Tories saying they have taken people out of paying tax ,that just means there are more than 3 million earning less than £10600.00.But let's hope you get what you vote for .

I will vote even though none of them deserves any vote's at all. If they stopped bickering at each other and try to get public on their side then things might have been more interesting.

Unfortunately all the leaders are light on personality so we have no choice but to vote for policies. None of them seem to be in touch with business and working people - none of them has had a real job! Cameron is part of the Eton elite and Miliband is just plain weird - can you imagine him trying to negotiate with Obama or Putin?!!

The economy is the key issue and I don't trust Balls/Miliband as they messed up last time around - maybe more of the same is the least worst option as at least they have a plan that seems to be working.

It has to be about policies. The policies will change our country for better or worse. To a large degree the Prime Minister is just a figurehead. he or she has no real power...but having said that both Winston Churchill and Margaret Thatcher did have power and did both change society and politics.
