Personalities or Policies?

image

Labour have said that in the upcoming election they will focus on the policies and issues rather than on the personalities and will not be featuring David Cameron on any billboards, and not use negative personal campaigning.

Douglas Alexander, the Labour election strategist, has said that they had information that the Conservative party had purchased a lot of Billboard poster sites that will possibly be used to ridicule Labour leaders.

In the last election in 2010 labour did the same thing to the Conservatives by using David Camerons face on posters and online.

What’s your view … should the General Election be about policies rather the personalities?

Vote for the wrong policies and you have ahead of you 5 years of suffering!
But what about a strong leader - bring back Thatcher!

I agree with 'daydreams' - but it's the policies that should come first.

I think they should stop blaming each other and concentrate on actually doing something.

In a five year spans they arrive
2 years of blame
"It was their fault they claim".
2 years of shame
"We did it, but won't do it again"
1 years of promising
things they will change.
After the election comes round,
it all starts again!

Yes that would make a refreshing change...They are now so worried about new parties like SNP and UKIP they are stopping the blame game a bit

I think its naive to think that its either personalities or politics...the 2 go together and most really successful politicians have a personality..love them or hate them
