Travel Insurance

Hi I had a heart attack last year and I have recovered pretty well. I am thinking about a few days in Spain or Italy in October Does anyone know how this will affect my insurance cost? TIA

My husband had a heart attack some 20 years ago and had 2 stents fitted. He has, thankfully, been in excellent health ever since but travel insurers still penalise him for something that happened so long ago! We spend so much time ringing round the various companies covering medical issues for the best quote its ridiculous. I think if, after - say - 10 years, there has been no further repeat health problem of the same thing you should not be penalised and have to pay their exorbitant costs, but the insurers have us over a barrel don't they if we want to do the right thing by ourselves.
