Married 50 years this year - wow ... no children but lots of nieces and nephews who we do tend to spoil!
Worked all my life in, firstly aviation selling inflight products, amongst other things, to the worlds airlines, and the last 20 years had a complete change of career and studied at Uni to become an HR Manager in a 400 bedroom hotel at Heathrow.
Love travelling and have been lucky enough to travel South America, Europe, North America, Asia. Most favourite place …. Malaysia.
Usual hobbies include reading, theatre, walking, visiting different parts of the UK.. -

Would you support a third runway at Heathrow airport?Absolutely YES. I have lived on the South Side of Heathrow all my life, seeing the airfield grow from a couple of fields to the productive airport it is today and cant wait for the new runway...just think of all the jobs it will bring (get people back to work) .... dont believe all this pollution rubbish - planes are much quieter now (remember the VC10's and 707's), the engines are at least 20/30% more efficient. Not going to go on and on but we need it. How many people use airports for their holidays, business trips etc. lets expand Heathrow and Gatwick.ViewDate:

Travel InsuranceMy husband had a heart attack some 20 years ago and had 2 stents fitted. He has, thankfully, been in excellent health ever since but travel insurers still penalise him for something that happened so long ago! We spend so much time ringing round the various companies covering medical issues for the best quote its ridiculous. I think if, after - say - 10 years, there has been no further repeat health problem of the same thing you should not be penalised and have to pay their exorbitant costs, but the insurers have us over a barrel don't they if we want to do the right thing by ourselves.
