Pay it Forward
Pay It Forward
Someone had the grace to throw a sunbeam in my way;
A meeting, very fleeting; we just exchanged a greeting;
I told her she looked lovely, that’s all I had to say;
The gift she gave—delightful, it really made my day.
It warmed the cockles of my heart, engendered peaceful sleep;
But such a thing of beauty—it isn’t mine to keep.
Enjoy the heartening memory, to cherish till it’s gone,
And spend some happy moments thinking how to pass it on
