Watch this postHello everyone thought of my music tastes. How about we do some themes and topics on music titles.
I used to create tapes the old c60 or 120 mixed and all on a theme.
Or a topic. Did one on Love all Soul songs. In the title. Just for fun helps the mental memory and good to share care.
Start with Summer all the songs with Summer in the title. As we are in Summer .
Here are my favourite ones in my Collection.

It's Summer - Billy Fury Orchestra instrumental two songs.
Summer Place - Percy Faith and Orchestra
Summer set - Acker Bilk.
Summer In The City -Lovin'Spoonful Anyone got any more .
Have fun.

Summertime by Billie Holliday
Philips wrote some great songs but it was Denny Docherty(spelt right?)
who sang nearly all the songs, but aided by fantastic harmonies by the
girls. I was born in 1948, and grew up in the 60s,I don't think that any
other decade since has produced better music. just my opinion,we will
be soon be hearing Christmas songs for the next few weeks.so get
ready, well if you think of any more memorable songs, get writing,
Take care, best wishes, Terry.
( A bit too early for Christmas)
I will have to get my thinking cap on

Summer Fling, K D Lang
Summer Breeze, The Isle Brothers
In the Summertime , Mungo Jerry
And a recent one Some other Summer, Roxette. Can't believe Marie Fredriksson is no longer with us...
Just seen someone else has mentioned some of the above
Still got some of those cassette kicking around the house! My most favourite was Chronologie by Jean Michel Jarre.
Anyway, getting to those tracks. Purely from memory (and a quick cheat), I can add a couple more.
Firstly, there's that wonderful track by the Isley Brothers, Summer Breeze. Oh wow.
And then I had one on my mind, I could hear the track but would the title or artist come, would it heck. So I played it in my mind a little longer, and suddenly the artist came to mind. From there, it was a quick cheat to see what the track was called. It's Bobby Goldsboro and Summer. And while I was cheating, I noticed he recorded another favourite of mine - Honey.
Oh wow - just going to go and download Summer Breeze and Honey.
Thanks for the memory trip.
