Litter Picking

Litter picking…

There are some who should, and some who don’t,
There are some who could, and some who won’t.
Litter pickers started as just a few,
Now more and more are saying ‘I do’.

Litter on the floor will be a thing of the past,
We go out litter picking, having a blast.
Friendships grow, united by our aim,
Litterers hang your head in shame!

We see litter whenever and wherever we go out,
It’s enough to make you scream and shout.
Join our crusade, become one of us who cares,
Get out litter picking, be one of us who dares.

Dares to challenge, people who throw rubbish down,
Be that person who picks up, not one who just frowns.
Together we can make this planet a better place,
So we can all go out with a smile on our face.
