Sorry Archie you can probably tell I only dabbled in Level 1 but if you Google SVQ Computer courses it comes up with a Pitman's course including computer science. Who knew certainly not me !.

Hi Archie
I have very basic skills learnt 20 years ago whilst on a social course.
It starts with turning it on andf finishes with swearing under your breath.
In between self teaching is the way to go learn from your own mistakes is never more apt especially if you forget to save the work you spend the last hour typing up.
It is a good skill to have ,E.Mail's ,Shopping on-line,researching holidays, and of course conversing on silver surfers.

Ecarg,
This still does not answer my question,
What is contained in tuition at level 1
What is contained in the course at level 2
What is anticipated to be learned in level 3
