The Christmas….

This Christmas ….

When you sit down for your festive cheer,
Remember our loved ones, no longer here.
Remember that some people are very sad,
Christmas for them can make them feel bad.

Remember the lonely, the unloved, the ill,
For some, Christmas can be a bittersweet pill.
If you are loved, happy, warm and well fed,
Remember those who cry when they go to bed.

Remember others and do something good,
Remember to help like a good person should.
No one should be sat crying alone,
Go to see them, or just use the phone.

A friendly face or a caring voice will do,
Show them someone cares, please do.
Make time in your busy Christmas day,
To say hello and wish them a happy day.

Remember to show that you do really care,
Make room at your table, pull up an extra chair.
You will feel good for doing a good deed,
Someone unhappy will feel better indeed.

Christmas should be happy, a smile on your face,
So do something good, before you say grace
Help a sad lonely person and bring them some cheer.
I wish you a happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year,
