Woe is Me

Woe is Me

My face is all scared from my acne filled youth
The dentist is poised to remove my last tooth
I’ve been to the doctor he told me to diet
And I have to admit my tummy’s a sight

I’ve not seen my feet for quite some time
But it’s quite a relief with feet like mine
I’d get nipped and tucked, I’d do it today
All stretched and sucked and lasered away

Now you might think I’m vain
But you don’t know my plight
My nose has a bend like Concord in flight
And my varicose veins, well what can I say
I wear surgical stockings to keep them at bay

Now I’ve tried all the lotions and potions and creams
I’ve been to the gym on the running machines
Followed the videos bought the books
But not a things improved my looks

If beauty’s skin deep
Then I have no doubt
I should have been born with my skin
Inside out.

Hi, I'm a mum of three children two boys and a girl but all grown up now but they're still my babies, I've been married to Jeff for 43 years. I Love all kinds of animals especially dogs, cats, and wild birds but we've no pets right now as our beautiful dog passed away and not ready to replace her yet. Until recently I loved all kinds of craft from making dolls houses from scratch to knitting, unfortunately I have a trapped nerve and get cramp in my left hand if I try and do any craft work which is a shame as I loved to give my makes to charity.
