I found a dead worm in the garden

A poem for the kiddies

I found a dead worm in the garden

I found a dead worm in the garden
I found it at twenty to nine
I’d seen it a little earlier
And to me the worm it looked fine

I tried mouth to mouth resuscitation
But this was tricky to do
I hadn’t a clue which end to blow in
As both ends had the same view

So I gave a blow top and bottom
Or bottom and top I’m not sure
But even with all of my efforts
The worm was sadly no more.

Hi, I'm a mum of three children two boys and a girl but all grown up now but they're still my babies, I've been married to Jeff for 43 years. I Love all kinds of animals especially dogs, cats, and wild birds but we've no pets right now as our beautiful dog passed away and not ready to replace her yet. Until recently I loved all kinds of craft from making dolls houses from scratch to knitting, unfortunately I have a trapped nerve and get cramp in my left hand if I try and do any craft work which is a shame as I loved to give my makes to charity.
