The Wanderer

The Wanderer

I’ve travelled far and wide.
I’ve walked on warm sands
And snowy hills.
I’ve carried your picture always, close to my heart.
I’ve seen so many things and spilt so many tears.
I know now it’s time to return.
It’s not easy not to love you.
This is not how it was supposed to be.
I can’t live without you.
I hope that you have waited for this wanderer to return .
I’ll never leave your side again if you are still there to love me.
