Shops a bustling, children hoping
The trees are glittering the snow is falling
Christmas time has come once more
A babe in swaddling in a manger lay
to bring us hope and bring us joy.
To bring us peace for all mankind
a Christmas wish of long ago.
Many years have passed since then
but still we pray and still we hope
for all of us to live as one to see
the truth is children’s eyes.
I hope for peace, I hope for joy
I hope for love of fellow man
I hope the season to be blessed
with happiness for one and all.
