Bob Ross was an American painter and art instructor famous for his simple and straightforward television programme that ran for over ten years.
He specialised in teaching how to paint nature scenes in just 30 minutes, and is beloved for his philosophy that when it comes to painting there are no mistakes – only happy accidents.
Today you can find the full archive of his videos online, all available to watch for free. They’re brilliant at teaching painting technique and also soothing and entertaining to watch, too.
