Set on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, the luxury self-catering accommodation at Broadgate Farm Cottages is a haven of rural comfort.
Each of our eco-friendly cottages have been converted from period farm buildings, their unique character being preserved through our use of original beams and reclaimed brick.
With 2, 3, 4, or 6 bedroom cottages available, all dog friendly, our cottages are perfect for every occasion, whether that be a quiet getaway for two or a gathering of the whole family. We are able to cater for guests with limited mobility, several of our cottages have downstairs bedrooms and wet rooms, some fully wheelchair accessible. We go above and beyond to ensure all our guests feel at home including those with hidden disabilities such as dementia and autism. We were awarded the accessibility and inclusivity award at the Yorkshire Post Tourism Awards 2023 for our commitment to inclusivity for all.
Yorkshire’s countryside is teeming with wildlife, offering a haven for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts alike. The Yorkshire Wolds are famous for their scenic landscapes and rich cultural heritage having inspired modern artists like David Hockney. The Wolds are characterised by rolling hills and lush green valleys perfect for nature loving explorers.
There are numerous trails criss-crossing the Wolds, the Yorkshire Wolds cycle route is 146 miles long, circling around the Wolds whilst showcasing its beauty.
The Yorkshire Wolds Way is a footpath that stretches for 79 miles, offering visitors the opportunity to explore the area’s stunning landscapes and discover its hidden treasures. The path takes in some of the region’s most beautiful landmarks, including the Humber Bridge, the Flamborough Headland, and the ruins of the medieval Wharram Percy village. The trail can be completed over a number of days or walkers can pick and choose the most appealing sections.
The farm also has walks from the door, including both a 20km and a 8km walk that start and finish at our gate.
Closer to the farm across the Westwood pasture is the historic market town of Beverley, markets are held on Saturdays and Beverley Minster, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture, is a must see attraction, the Minster and St. Mary’s church in Beverley were both constructed in the 13th century.

The High Barn a 6 bedroom cottage can be combined with The Cart House to sleep 21 adults for larger groups.
