Experience Canada with Canadian Sky

Canada is a destination that conjures up the feeling of infinite adventure.

Whether you’re exploring the great outdoors on foot, in a kayak or by bike, or simply sitting back and watching the amazing views from a luxury Rocky Mountaineer rail carriage, Canada is enriched with stunning natural beauty that beckons exploration. Drive along the spectacular coastline in search of wonderful whale encounters, wander through bustling city streets that are infused with history, and explore striking national parks that are home to some of the best wildlife encounters – from grizzly bears to the mighty moose.

The iconic sights of Canada include the thundering waters of Niagara Falls, majestic peaks of the Rockies, turquoise waters of Lake Louise and the CN Tower dominating the Toronto skyline on vast Lake Ontario. In order to experience the real Canada, take a floatplane trip over British Columbia’s wilderness, drive the stunning Icefields Parkway in Alberta, meet a Mountie in Saskatchewan, or chase the Northern Lights in the Yukon. Meanwhile, the fall colours in Quebec are well worth seeing, and foodies will relish wine tasting around Ontario and sampling seafood in Nova Scotia.

Niagara Falls

There are also lesser-known gems to discover throughout Canada. You could sleep under the stars in the Algonquin Log Cabin on the shores of Surprise Lake in Algonquin Provincial Park. Or, take a whale-watching cruise off the coast of Newfoundland where you may spot an iceberg. Try your hand at gold-panning in Dawson City before a visit to Canada’s first casino – Diamond Tooth Gertie’s Gambling Hall. Even travel to Canada’s smallest province Prince Edward Island to see if it lives up to being “Canada’s Food Island”, visiting the beautiful beaches, quaint lighthouses and home of Anne of Green Gables. You could also visit Ottawa in February to enjoy the Winterlude Festival and skate the longest skating rink in the world – the frozen Rideau Canal.

Rocky Mountaineer

A country as vast as Canada presents many ways to travel through the provinces and to try out different styles of sight-seeing transport. How about boarding an Ice Explorer to see the Athabasca Glacier, a helicopter ride over Niagara Falls, a floatplane to a wildlife lodge, an Aquabus across False Creek to Granville Island, or the Banff Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain. Hire a car and drive the Sea-to-Sky Highway from Vancouver to Whistler or the beautiful Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia. Or, take a train right across the country on the “Canadian” route from Toronto to Vancouver or the “Ocean” from Montreal to Halifax.
