“So, what’s new” you ask?
After the successful launch of our ‘Explorer Holidays’, we have extended the busy, active and multi-destination holiday portfolio for ‘Explorer Holidays’ to include the fantastic new Treasures of Tuscany; an adventurous week of exploring this iconic Italian landscape. Unlike most group tours, ‘Explorer Holidays’ are limited to just 25 guests (6 in Slovenia) and are based in one or two selected hotels so you are not ‘living out of a suitcase’ for the whole week. Each itinerary spans across several different locations with various day trips to give you a chance to really get to know the region. All activities in your itinerary are included in the holiday price so there are no hidden extras to worry about.
Treasures of Tuscany will bring to you the wonders of this iconic and picturesque region of Italy including guided day trips to Florence, Siena, and the Chianti countryside with plenty of wine tasting along the way, and of course you will see the world famous Leaning Tower of Pisa! This year you can also choose from the following tours: Wines & Castles in Slovenia and Italy, Italy, Austria & Switzerland, Undiscovered Austria, and Gardens of Lake Constance.
One of the delights of an Inghams summer holiday is our fantastic supporting team of English-speaking resort staff who work hard all year around overseas in resorts to ensure that your holiday is a fantastic experience. They’ll understand and anticipate your needs while on holiday too, making sure they are always one step ahead to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes!
Our reps have also played a key role in introducing even more of our signature Guided ‘Wanderwalks’ for 2017- free local guided walks up to 3 times per week led by an Inghams Rep or a professional English-speaking guide, starting from your hotel. A free walking map is also provided to guests who stay in one of our many popular walking destinations.
An active out-and-about summer holiday couldn’t come easier to you since our Inghams’ hotels now offer free use of cable-cars, chairlifts and public transport in many resorts, as well as half-price travel throughout Switzerland, and free travel throughout Switzerland for children up to 15 years old!
For cycling enthusiasts out there, you’ll be pleased to know that Inghams does some of the best cycling holidays in Europe. Many of our hotels include free cycle hire, and E-bikes are available across a number of Austrian resorts, and in Chamonix, France. You can also bring your own bike to the mountain biking Mecca of the French Alps, Morzine, and find a wealth of routes and trails suited for experienced road cyclists and mountain bikers.
Still going strong are our cycling tours of some of the most beautiful places in Europe. Treasures of the Danube is a gentle self-guided cycle through the countryside nearly always following the curves, dips and dives of the River Danube, and is suitable for all ages and abilities.
As always, here at Inghams we are pleased with the fantastic array of ‘Inghams Plus’ special offers available to our guests – from early booking discounts to free packed lunches and excursions. Our latest Lakes and Mountains brochure is available 24/7 365 days per year online on our website.
