Would you be happy to accept a jab after midnight?

The NHS is running the biggest mass vaccination campaign in its history to protect people against Covid-19, with the aim to vaccinate top priority groups by mid-February and all adults by the autumn.

With more than 2.6 million people in the UK now having received their first dose of either the Oxford-AstraZeneca or Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines the campaign has made a good start, but with some parts of the country slower to administer the vaccine than others the Government has come under intense pressure to step up the pace.

More than 32million over-50s could be vaccinated by the end of March under new Government plans to ramp up the jab roll-out, it has been reported.

The Government is said to be preparing to more than double the pace of the current programme next week to up to half a million jabs a day.

This led the Prime Minister to announce on Wednesday that the vaccine would be offered 24 hours a day, seven days a week as soon as supply allows.

The vaccines are being administered at hospitals, care homes, GP surgeries and vaccination centres with some High Street pharmacies in England to start vaccinating people from priority groups today (Thursday).

So, with Boris Johnson promising vaccines 24/7, would you be happy to accept a jab after midnight?
