Have you adopted a ‘life is too short’ attitude?

Almost two-thirds (62%) of people believe that – since hitting 50- they’ve adopted a ‘life is too short’ outlook when it comes to embracing adventure and new goals.

A new study, conducted by the research team at travel insurance provider, Staysure, surveyed 2,000 UK residents over the age of 50 in a bid to understand more about the long-term goals and aspirations regarding different adventures, as well as how these have adapted since hitting the milestone birthday.

The survey revealed that since turning 50, nearly half (62%) of respondents said that they felt the need to embrace life more, and that 52% of women and 42% of men now take a ‘life is too short’ mentality towards their futures.

For some, this focus towards making the most of every day is manifested in the desire to travel more, a popular life goal for 39% of participants.  For others, the chance to immerse themselves in live music by attending more gigs and concerts (14%) is a main focus, whilst making more friends is another priority for 20% of those polled.
