I’m sure it’s not escaped your notice that 2022 marks 70 years on the throne for the Queen and so the nation has been duly gifted an extra long weekend with a Bank Holiday added on Friday 3rd June.

Plus, the usual late May bank holiday has been pushed back to Thursday 2nd June making a four-day break at the end of spring for many of us.

Plans are well underway to celebrate this historic royal milestone with Platinum Jubilee beacons to be lit across the nation and the Commonwealth, a special live concert from Buckingham Palace and us ordinary folk starting to organise street parties and celebration teas.

Dubbed the biggest ever event held in the UK the Platinum Jubilee is set to be one to remember.
