Caring is a tough job, isn't it, my Mum lived with us for 5 years and was 92 when she passed last summer with cancer, only 3 months after being diagnosed with cancer. Sadly, before her my Husband passed away aged just 70 and only 5 months after being diagnosed with cancer.
Due to caring for Mum and Covid we never got out and about to meet other people and now being on my own I get nervous at the thought of going and joining groups on my own,
I do have a couple of friends, they were Mum's friends but, over the years she was with us became mine as well, one of them also lives in Bourne!
I am trying to get back into card making and cross stitch, I also like to garden, again trying to get back into that as due to caring for both of them last year I got out of the habit.
I've probably gone on a bit to much here, if you'd like to chat more then please do
I have lived here for 25 years, originally from London. Due to working in Peterborough never really got to meet many people in Spalding.
