Friendship groups

Is there anyone local interested in a general friendship group?

I realise meeting up is not a great idea right now but one has to hope that one day life can continue in some form!

I am a single lady in my mid sixties and I would like to meet new friends. I have many lady friends but I miss male company as I used to work in mixed company and always enjoyed interaction with men as well as women.

I do not want to try dating (not practical right now anyway!) as I’m not sure if I want a romantic partner again but I would like to have a friend to, one day, go for drinks with, to the theatre, days out etc. In fact anything one can’t easily do alone.

It would be nice to find enough people to say, meet up as a group and find mutual activities. I’m not looking for a “meal ticket” I am happy to pay my way I just would like to meet some other people looking for company now and again.

I feel there must be some gentlemen and ladies out there who might occasionally need someone to go to a gathering with or just to spend time with. If this piques your interest then let me know and maybe sometime in the future we could meet for a coffee somewhere.

Hullo Lola, I'm on your side. How about a group to meet every week or so in Costa or Cromwell for lunch/coffee n chat. Not much of a one for going out in the evening very much.

Did you find anyone. I'm just looking for friendship too. Meet ups, coffee, lunch theatre etc. It'd be nice.
