Where are all the new members disappearing to?
Watch this postI look in to the forum everyday, at least 3 times a day and one thing I notice is that there is always a constant influx of new members listed. But then they never seem to appear in any of the threads. 🙁
This is so disappointing. A warm welcome awaits anyone who cares to join in any of the currant topics, or any new topic that you care to instigate. Don’t be alone out there. Come in and chat. 🙂

of course being new, its a case of finding my way around ,and like every new comer to the forum, I too will have tread carefully until everything becomes clearer, and easier, to me,
I am a new member, though I must say it took some perseverance to get registered, plus six attempts to select a user name. Seems that I must have chosen the most popular derivatives http://www.silversurfers.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" class="spSmiley" />
Still trying to find my way round the site and find the best place to start posting, so much choice, maybe it puts newbie’s off a little . However looking forward to chatting, any tips from you seasoned wayfarers?
I have been away for a week and so not been posting.
I returned to find that Goldfynche has finally given up trying. So few people seem to post.
It is very hard to keep chatting on here and finding no-one live....but I usually come on in the evening so I don't think that helps.
I am happy to talk about anything really and I usually go through the list of " unread topics" and reply where I can.
I am new to forums and don't do any other online social network.
I am 61 year old widow and I live in East Anglia.
As I said. I do look in, several times a day. Although I do have other activities that I indulge in as well.
I'm Mike by the way. I moved from London up to Scotland 6 months ago and now my daughter lives with me. It seemed pointless living in the same town and having two sets of utility bills to pay. So I bought a house big enough for both of us to have our own personal space if we wanted it.
I've had to re-register as I couldn't log in, in my old account, so i've started over.
I'm a widow, living in the south of England, and would love to chat to anyone.
