Watch this postHi, I joined some time ago but not done much activity with the forum so far. This is about to change due to the death of my husband 17 months ago. Not enjoying my life that much now - just need to meet and chat with people for companionship. Also would love to meet someone who would holiday with me

I will be in Europe for about 8 weeks in Sept/Oct 2018 and looking for a lady travel buddy. I am 70 years old or should say young and prefer the company of women to men. I would love to hear from you.

Have just read your post. Do not know if you live in the same area as me not far from
Tunbridge Wells. I am also widowed, although now 7 years plus and lost my only
brother 2 years later. With no children and having looked after my husband through illness for around 10 years I have had to re-invent myself and find out who I am as a
loner. It hasn't been easy but I am now as they say "in a good place". I have joined U3A and belong to other activities where I live and as I non driver I have had many single holidays mainly by coach and recently returned from Scotland. Most enjoyable. There are usually singles on these holidays and I manage to pal up with someone, but as I am a person young at heart and still fit enough to walk I find it is not always easy and I would like a companion now again to holiday with.
