Hi, I've been a single traveller for a number of years, and begining to find it boring. It would be nice to have a female companion to share the experience. My wife passed away two years ago. I have three daughters and three grandaughters. I like to keep fit, walking, swimming and working out.

I am retired teacher heading up to Vanuatu (mostly Port Vila) in mid June for a month. I am trying to contact some one interested in exploring a bit there
I am trying to learn some Bislama although there is lots of English and French spoken.
It seems to have great weather at this time.

I have secured a veranda cabin on a 22-day Viking cruise departing Barcelona on Nov. 13. The itinerary includes 8 ports in 6 countries. I got a special deal for $4,999 per person double occupancy, airfare included, and need to find a female cabin mate. The itinerary can be viewed on Viking's website in the listing for Southern Atlantic Crossing.
Response from AlbertaGal made on 17th May 2019 01:46:36
Hi Janice, where do you live? This sounds like an awesome trip.
I’m in Alberta, Canada.
Response from Janice5553 made on 20th May 2019 22:52:08
Hi, AlbertaGal. Sorry for the delayed reply. My computer has been down. I live in Palm Springs, California. I called Viking and they said the free airfare would be included from a major gateway in Alberta.
Response from AlbertaGal made on 22nd May 2019 20:02:11
No prob, hey when I looked at Vikings site, they say that $4999 U.S. is for the cabin/2 people. I’m a little confused that your cabin is $4999 x 2.. sorry, that’s too expensive for me, that’s $10,000 for a cabin, wow! They need to change their advertising , right?
Response from Janice5553 made on 23rd May 2019 21:49:34
It's a good price for 22 days and all the inclusives. Their website does clearly state the price "per person." In any event, thanks for looking into it.

I'm crossing on Queen Mary 2 from New York to Southampton 7 July, returning 11 August. Seeking someone to share cost of cabin, approx. $2,400 each, round trip. This leaves 4 weeks to explore the UK on your own (and beyond if you choose).

Solo in Alberta looking for a travel buddy. Day trips, weekend trips and international adventures.
I would love to meet someone to vacation with over Christmas and New Year 2019/20.
Me: retired but full of life. Love change and will try (almost) anything. Adventurous, people, animal, nature lover. Enjoy different cultures and local foods.
You: like-minded, non-smoker wanting adventure, laughs and good experiences.
Let’s chat and see what develops!

Response from AlbertaGal made on 17th May 2019 01:44:57
Oh Beauty, there are so many places I would like to visit, just not alone. I’d love to visit Peru.
I am open to trips.
Do you live near me? I’m also looking for buddies to go away on weekends, day trips and, of course, international trips.

I am planning to escape the UK winter and spend 3 months in spain. Dec., Jan., Feb.
I have found a nice villa in Alhaurin de la Torre near Malaga and will drive down with my small well behaved dog.
You would have your own double bedroom with en suite.
Im looking for someone who is late 50s / 60s to join me. Cost will be approximately £2,000 for the 3 months plus food.
I live in Berkshire but where you live in UK not that important.
Please send me an email with details about yourself If you are interested.

what is it with this site................people get idea,s about travelling but don,t have the choonas to do it...............only serious people please................( And that might mean actually leaving home !)
Response from CoffeeCake made on 11th May 2019 16:10:24
Hi Vic. Your post shows your frustration but reality is „looking for a travel companion“ does not equal „looking for anyone and everyone“ nor does it mean that we don’t travel. I am quite happy travelling by myself and have most recently been for a long weekend in Paris and prior to that a three week guided tour of India.

Hi - I do a good amount of international travel and I've often traveled alone but I'm tired of it. So I'm always looking for travel companions. I do, at the moment however, happen to have a friend to travel to Italy with in the Fall but I'm also going to be spending a few days in California on my own soon, from 6/18/19 through 6/22/19. I'm renting a car and driving down the coast from San Francisco to Big Sur. If anyone happens to be in that vicinity around then, I'd love to talk about the possibility of meeting for a meal or even perhaps an adventure. I love that stretch of coast and I've not been there in decades. Anybody going to be around that area then? Thanks!
Response from Beauty made on 9th May 2019 21:59:05
You are so lucky.....that stretch of coastline is sublime....travelled there in the 80's.....so so envious. Enjoy ...
